A message from our Churchwardens and the Finance Committee:<\/h5>\n

\u2018Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who give regularly to St Roberts and helped us keep the ship afloat.<\/em> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

St Robert\u2019s Church is blessed with a strong and vibrant community.  We bring people together in worship and fellowship, help nurture our young people and support those in need.<\/em> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We are always here for you and everyone in and around Pannal and Burn Bridge. Our doors are always open.<\/em> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

However, these are challenging times, with the shadow of COVID-19 and the current problems of inflation and the cost of living continuing to affect us all in different ways, some visible and some invisible. <\/em> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The reality is that whilst our finances have survived over the last few years, they remain under pressure as our income fell significantly, and our  fundraising events and activities have only recently started to get properly up to speed.  At present, we are still unable to meet our <\/em>Parish Share<\/em><\/a> commitments, and we must try to ensure that this does not remain a continuing situation. <\/em> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you are in a position to do so, please would you review your regular giving and consider all the church brings to you, our community and those in need.  If you don\u2019t already give regularly, please reflect on this and whether you could start.\u2019 <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
