Friday evening May 18th and Saturday afternoon May 19th. Entry forms are available on the website or direct from chuch. Closing date is May 9th 2012. Categories are: doorways, windows (any shape) and landmarks of Yorkshire.

Change to Tidy up date!
The church tidy up is now going to be 4th February instead of 28th January. We ideally need 4 men to clean up the car park (leaves) and about 8 more people to come armed with mops and dusters (on poles). We aim to start about 9.30am and there will be a list to sign in church.

Bag2Life Collection Wednesday March 7th
The bags will be available from next Sunday. Please take a bag and fill with the unwanted goods that are suggested. Return to church or bring on 7th March by 9am.
Coffee Morning March 7th
There will be a coffee morning with a bookstall and cake stall. Please could you donate cakes, buns or scones to sell on the stall? Both of these events are to raise money for decorating the Nave and the chancel of the church and some new oak doors; to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Junior Church Cake Stall
It is the turn of Yellow Group (Yrs1 and 2) to bring in cakes home-made or bought as a fundraising activity for Church. Please leave your contributions in the kitchen prior to the 9.30am service.

Reading and Speaking In Church
An opportunity to work with voice coaches to develop how we are heard and understood in church.
Wednesday 8th February 19.30 to 21.30 at Christ Church in Harrogate.
There is a small charge for attendance. Please visit the office for a flyer/booking form.
JUNIOR CHURCH
Many thanks to everyone who has been involved with Junior Church throughout 2011, without your valued support we would not be able to operate. Junior Church starts again after the holidays on Sunday 15th January, then on Sunday 29th it is the turn of the Yellow group (Year 1 and 2) to bring cakes for the cake stall to raise money for church funds.

Can you help give out leaflets on these streets the day before to let people know we are coming?

Christmas with Quintessential for Chrissy Quest
Saturday 10th December 7.30pm
Quintessential Vocal Quintet will be performing their 21st concert at Wesley Chapel in aid of a local child Christopher Maltby to raise funds towards an operation he needs. Tickets are £10 and £8 concessions, children free. Tickets are available on the door or from Pomp and Circumstance. Contact Sarah and Kevin Paynes at church for more information.

Please come and join us for a festive Coffee morning 9-11am. Mince pies, scones and may be some mulled wine! (juice for any children)
There will be a stall selling hats and gloves – all proceeds towards the church Jubilee Fund
After having 2 very successful mornings in aid of Macmillan & St. Michaels Hospice raising approx £800 we are just keeping it low key this month but would love to see some of the new faces that came to support the Charity events.

This will be in the chapel at St. Aidan’s 7.45pm – 8.30pm.
The chapel is the far left building as you look at the school from the road. Parking is in front of the chapel or behind the chapel.
