 The Doors Are Open

During the Summer months Saint Michael and All Angels Church Beckwithshaw will be open for visitors and will be open from 10.00am until dusk each day, with the exception of adverse weather conditions. we often have visitors to the area coming along to have a look around the church, but the church is also open for church members and anyone from the local community who would like to visit he church during the week just to spend some quiet time in prayer, meditation or reflection..

      Summer Volunteers Thank you Party

Nigel Carole and the  Churchwardens  appreciate all the hard work our volunteers do and the time they give so freely for the benefit of the church and we would like to invite everyone  who volunteers along to an evening of drinks and nibbles , to show our appreciation for all that you do.  In Beckwithshaw know that most of our congregation help in one way or another and look forward to seeing you all at the party. However we are also aware of the tremendous amount of help and support that we receive  from residents of the village and the local community even though they do not attend church  and would like to extend a special welcome to them, therefore if you are a church member and know of any local  people who help please would you tell them about theand pass on this invitation to them. The party will take place on   Saturday 25th June from 7 to 9pm in the church.

  Betty’s Bag Collection

Many thanks to everyone who brought bags along for Bettys Bag Collection, we are all delighted with the result and a Grand total of £240  was raised for church funds which is the highest amount we have raised from a bag collection yet well done everyone and a special thank you to Betty.
